Twilight 
Your smile could light up the sky  
like the glow of ten-million fireflies.   
Shining and flickering like tiny stars  
caught in the blue-velvet web above us.   
And when the breeze blew, they would  ripple like the moon on the rising tide.   
It reminded me of nothing;  and my heart was as clear as the  
insect wings that comforted me.   
I asked you to save me;  to take me away from here.   
And you would tell me that I was  
the whispers in your dreams;  that I was the candlelight in your darkness.   
And you would whisk me away &nbs Twilight

Would you weep a little? 
Could you hear me if I sang of my sorrow?  If I sang of every foggy dream that awoke me in the night;  of every trivial terror I struggled to ignore.   
Could you hear me if I whispered for you?  If my raw-red voice strained against the veil of silence  
I was forced to consume; because of you.   
Could you hear me if my weeping echoed?  If for every sob I stifled, a scarlet blaze  washed over every inch of your body.   
Can you hear me when I humor you?  When every text I type fumes with pain and premonition;  with frost so thick it halts your eyes.   
Can Would you weep a little?

The lost fairy-taleYour touch could have sparked a cyanide fairy-tale;  a forest of luminescent-translucent willows weeping  around a pool of ice-clear mirror.   
We could have stood, alone and pale;  within a veil of bone-white mist, alive with  the flicker of bruise-blue glowflies.   
We could have spoken of hushed regrets  beneath a shroud of oblivion, alight by the  flare of the midnight sun.   
Your touch could have given me life;  and you could've been the silver air in my lungs,  and I could have been your quivering fingertips.

H1N1

I'm sorry I haven't been replying to my messages and comments,
or even being online probably as often as I should be.

You see,
a little while ago a friend of mine and both of her
parents got the H1N1 flu; and they've only just gotten over it.
Now,
I have Math 20 Applied twice a week with this friend,
so I took it upon myself to bring her her work.
Big mistake.

I feel like complete ass.
My skin is super sensitive and it hurts to wear clothing;
my joints and my muscles are stiff and painful, especially around
my neck and shoulders; I've been throwing up a little bit - out
of both ends, to put it nicely. I have a phlegmy cough and I'm
sneezing a lot; and I have the worst headache of life.

Last night was really bad.
I was breathing really heavy and having a hard time
catching my breath; my face and my hands were going numb
and tingly. I was having a hard time walking and
keeping my balance, and I felt very disoriented.

I'm not so bad today,
but I still feel like absolute crap.
Still coughing and feeling very light-headed,
and I'm having more chest pains.

So,
hopefully when I start to feel better I'll be able
to sit back down in front of my computer and throw together
some photomanips that I've been keeping in my head
for a little while now.

Sorry to bitch to you guys,
but I felt you deserved to know why
I've been absent.

And it would be nice to talk to someone who's
not my parents or boyfriend.
=P
